Happy about life.. loving every moment..

Went to Indy 500, was great! Enjoyed my time with my hubby.

Planning my father's birthday at my house for family... nervous about the plans and foods.. Mom is so much better about these kinds of things than I am.

Jake has new furniture, metal loft bed since he wants to be an Astronaut. Now needs new bedspread and such and more glowy things.

Lily is becoming more like her Mother. She does not understand why the girls at Summer Camp have to brag about being popular, she loves herself and doesn't give a rats ass about what they think of her. I love that child more and more each day :)

Going to Disney in the Fall, woohoo!! Cant wait!!

Oct. 28th, 2004 10:09 am oooo I'm a PERV :)

Take the quiz: "What Kind of Pervert are You?"

The Seductive Pervert
The Seductive Pervert: You are The Seductive Pervert, you don't have to try! You use only your body and sexual ways to lure someone in an endless dream of sexual fantasies. Although you may use toys, you have your desires, you seem to know what gets to them, you even know their soft spots, woah, wouldn't matter if they had first met you or not! Your ways are unbelievable and quite sensual, you could probably lay anyone you wanted with the way you speak, move, or just motion. Just don't test your abilities on yourself, you might find yourself attracted to even your own body. Let's try attracting another person instead. Hehe!

Oct. 28th, 2004 09:42 am Weee!!!

Well havent written in a while, I have been quite busy doing family things. Trying to get the kids to stop sucking their thumbs, and it is working slowly... it takes time breaking bad habits. I am hoping to teach them that they have control over certain bad habits so that in the future things that are bad for them, whether it be people or whatever, they can drop it. Teaching strength is importance :)

Anyway, I am looking forward to this weekend. My sweet hubby and I have so much planned!! Friday night we are thinking of taking the kids to a haunted house, or scary movie.. but we shall see. Saturday we will dress the kids up at noon and go to the Highland Lakes Halloween parade and Fall Festival. Then we are going to a friend's child's first birthday party.. DING for the litte one!! Trick or treating on Saturday night then neighbor is having a wonderful constume party... unbeknownst to him, he will have 2 real pagans. I haven't quite decided what to dress up as yet, but I am sure I will come up with something cool.. or kinky.. depending on my mood :)

Sunday my honey and I will be blessing our home, children etc etc with our yearly ritual. It is so wonderful knowing I have a partner that is not confused about his beliefs, even when they are not exactly the same as mine.

Well Happy Samhain all... Blessed be.

Sep. 14th, 2004 10:34 pm YAY!

Well this weekend I finally got to celebrate my birthday. We went shopping for some odd things.. like new belly button jewelry (yes I have a piercing) and wine and some really cute thong undies... heehee!! But the best gift I got were my new pants. Not because pants are popular or that I needed them, but because I discovered I am now in a size 8!!! I went from pushing a 14 down to an 8!! I have to say I was so excited and still am excited for my accomplishment in my weight loss and making the necessary life style changes. Yes, I watch Dr. Phil. Yes, I paid attention to everything he said.. and you know what?? It friggin worked!!! I cut out Caffeine (hardest thing I did) then I cut out soft drinks including sweet tea. I have lost a total of 25 lbs on the scales but I am much more toned now.

I have to say... YAY FOR ME!! I did it! I am accomplishing my goal of loosing that extra flab on my ass!! WOOHOO!! Now I just need to work on toning more and then see if I loose any more sizes!

Sep. 9th, 2004 10:14 pm BS going through my mind

Well there are a lot of things going through my mind as of late that I need to vent a little.

Before I start, I do want to point out that I know I am not a perfect wife or mother. But I do the best I can and learn from other's mistakes and closed minded views.

First on the list, so I can "let it go" is that my ex-husband took his "new" family to Disneyworld and didnt even ask if HIS children could go. His excuse was: he didnt have the money. My thoughts on this? We let me spill forth the disgust I feel in my soul for this sorry bastard to treat my children this way. My stomach turns everytime I think of it. My children, have to deal with this scum as a father. I have asked many many men, single and married what they would do in a situation like this and EACH one said the same thing: They would have at least asked for his children to go. These two precious children who are only 7 and 5 now feel that they have been replaced, they dont count anymore. They feel that their "daddy" doesnt love them enough. Karma is a bitch and he will soon discover it.

Second, I told the first in order to tell you this. I just put together two children birthday parties, which went extremely well. However, their father decides to bring them presents back from Disney and remind the children he didnt take them. My son, the 5 year old, was sitting next to me when he opened his present and quietly asked me so no one could see if what daddy got him was from Disney. I told him yes and he tossed it over his shoulder like he didnt give a flying fuck what was given. Just when I think he couldnt get any dumber.. he pulls shit like this and shocks the fuck out of me!!!

Third, I know that he only gets the kids twice a month for the weekend. Not that he couldnt visit or request vists more often, but because he feels it is his "duty" to get them. He doesnt try to see them more often, not only that he didnt even call his son ON his birthday to wish him a happy birthday. Last year he forgot Lily's birthday and made an excuse, as usual. Since he only gets the kids twice a month he is so not into what the kids like or how smart the children are. He brings Jake back this remote control car with Mickey on it, the remote control has three buttons... three... like for a toddler to have for his first remote control car. Well, his grandparents gave Jake a foot and 1/2 robot with a remote control with at least 25 buttons. It seems Jake went shopping with his grandparents and begged for the robot.. and they promised to get it for his birthday, and they did. Can ANYONE explain to me how you would think that a child who can add, count to 100, can say his ABC's forward and backwards, can work puzzles with 100 pieces and complains it is too easy would like a three button remote control car?? ANYONE? Bueller?

Forth, to get off the ranting of ex's, what the hell is this country thinking right now?? We are at war, most of our high paying jobs are going to India or other third world countries, we have so many illegal aliens taking the blue collar jobs, our economy has gone to shit, the gas prices are unbelievable, and we are worried about gays marrying and IF Bush and Kerry really served in the armed forces? GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK HERE!!! People are worried about such asinine shit when the REAL issues are our jobs are being shipped away to other countries and the companies doing it is getting a tax break. It boggles the mind.

Finally, This is a free country to say what the hell I want to say. And you know how I got this right? Because our armed forces fought in REAL WARS to allow me that privilege. I didnt earn it myself, it was granted to me through blood from another Mother's child, Wife's husband or vice versa, Father's Son or daughter, Children's father or mother. It was given to me freely, with love for this country and for what they believed in. They fought and died for us to have what we have. I salute EVERY armed forces soldier, and I thank each and every one alive and dead. I thank their families for carrying the burden of loosing a loved one so we could have what we have today. They suffered for us, they died for us.. they are dying for us now.. regardless of what is being said in the media... they are dying for us in some form or fashion to allow us our freedoms. Those third world countries hate us because we, to them, are the epitome of evil. Why? Unknown to me, but my thoughts are because we are free to speak out, we are free to choose our own religion, we are free, simple as that. Women can be a valuable part of society. We are not all the same, each American is different with different thoughts, values and morals. We do not follow one religion or fight those who believe differently. We accept that everyone has the freedom to choose what they belive in.. we have FAITH in ourselves and out beliefs to ALLOW others to believe what they believe in.

That is all.. post if you wish.. all posts are welcome.. free speech, free will. America the beautiful... FOREVER!!!!

Jul. 22nd, 2004 01:20 pm Retirement

Well, dad is retiring at the end of the month, however, I think today will be his last day. It seems that they respect and admire my father who worked for them for 40 years has put in the CEO's son, fresh out of college, into his shoes. Needless to say others are extremely pissed at the company pulling this kind of BS.

I am hoping I can keep my tongue when this young prick speaks, because from what my father says, there is so much idiocy spewing forth we will need to run for cover to be sucked into his imaginary world.

That is the way of companies now, screw the hard working devoted employees, and promote the idiots. It is unbelievable how many people who are complete idiots have been promoted that last year I actually asked my boss.. how badly do I have to screw up to get promoted?? He didn't like that comment... but he couldn't fire me. I work too darn hard and am too darn good at whatever they get me to do.. and I can do it all in under 8 hours.. WOW!!

Anyway, off to dad's retirement and hoping I don't cry and all that mushy crap... I hate it when I do that.

Jul. 20th, 2004 10:06 pm

New day... full of idiots again. Like I have said in previous posts I work in the IT field. I am on the Help Desk of a world renown computer consulting firm, does that mean everyone is computer savvy?? I don't think so!!!

Example 1: Today we were hit with two viruses on our network. Why you say? Was it a disgruntled employee? Was it a new person who is not computer literate? NO!!! It was someone who recieved a page with an attachment from someone whom she did not know so she forwarded it to her email account and OPENED IT!!! That's right ladies and gents.. she opened the virus willingly. How many times do we have to send out communications for people NOT to open emails with attachments from people they don't frigging know!! ARGH!!!

If it was MY company.. you know how I would handle it?? I would send out a mass communication and in the subject line: Likelyvirusdonotopen.exe, write a script so that when the DA opens the email it automatically turns off their network port, turns off their computer and reports it to HR as them being fired for being STUPID!!! I bet you at least 45 people would be fired that day.

Ok.. enough ranting about work...

Signed my daughter up for school today, she is starting first grade. Sigh.. it was only yesterday when I remember her taking her first steps. Time flies but thank the goddess I am paying attention. She is really excited she is going to a brand new school that has been designed by a builder. It is not your usual school.. it looks more like a castle with the tall turret and the rock for bricks look. It is very rustic and awesome inside.. marble floors in the entryway and tile with hard wood flooring to outline the tile. It is an awesome school.. hope the teachers are great at what they do.

Also, today my baby brother got married, he also found out that they are having a boy. My feelings are pretty indifferent at the moment, if he is happy then I am happy.

Take the quiz: "WHAT RELIGION BESTS SUITS YOU?"

Pagan/Occultist
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. Spending your entire life searching various forms of philosophy and religion, you choose to observe everything and believe little. You're personality is one of truth seeking, nature respecting and god/goddess accepting. Lastly, you don't judge anyone, but if annoyed, you will exact some form of revenge. You don't believe in the Three-Fold Law.

hmm.... what do you know :)

Jul. 19th, 2004 12:53 pm ACS

Well it was ACS time here at work. In other words, eval. time to see if you get a raise or what. I got a meets which means I am doing a little over what is necessary for me to do. Will find out from the big boss man if I get a raise later.

Anyway, it seems that my intellect is now showing therefore my potential is growing. Duh.. I could have told them that a long time ago. The jobs I have been doing were not that difficult, the persons who had the positions before me made them out ot be harder than they were. I now, however, need to have more responsibilities because I am bored stiff!!! We shall see what transpires later from that conversation.

Looks like I will be getting a little more responsibility, I will be in charge of our exchange accounts, all 1500 of them for Birmingham. We shall see if it is as difficult as the previous person says it is.

Walking another mile today after work, at least a mile. Down to 163lbs which is a total of 22 lbs lost! YAY ME!! got another 17 to go and I will be skinny mini!! At least for my height I will :)

Jul. 16th, 2004 12:21 pm ARGH!

Man!! I need to start posting on here!! I forgotted all about this!!

Anyway... nothing really monumental has happened lately however we have had many goofy stories of people on our help desk.

One I got last week was someone trying to dial in, so I walked the user through dialing in. The user then stated to me "Ok, I am going to try to connect, please hold on for me." I said "sure" Assuming I was dealing with someone with intelligence and the next thing I hear is the modem dialing in over the line I am on. The user comes back "ITS WORKING ITS WORKING!!!" I then had to explain that it would not work while we were on the line the computer was trying to dial in to. Needless to say I was doing my best NOT to crack up.

Birthdays are coming up so I will be putting out the birthday cheer for my kids and my wonderful hubby. My birthday is coming up too but it isn't that important :)

Dec. 22nd, 2003 02:13 pm Bored

Well my loving hubby introduced me to this site and he was introduced this site by a female friend of his. So, I thought I would attempt to post anything since I am sitting at work doing absolutely nothing!!

Two days before the holidays start and I am one of about 75 that are remaining in the office, the other 2000 are at home.. with their families. So, I get to sit here and entertain.. umm.. MYSELF!! WEEEEEEE!!

I am planning on attempting to post here at least weekly of the antics of a mother, wife and employee. Here is what has happened thus far today:

6:15am everyone wakes up
6:16am son runs to the bedroom in a panic because he is too short to reach his clothes on the hangers for school
6:17am son starts to "cough" and states he is sick and should stay home today
6:18am daughter looks at him, and states she gets to go to gramma's house cause she is out of school.
6:20am son leaves with step-dad pouting and daughter leaves with mom
(yes somewhere in there I did put on clothes, fix hair and brush teeth but time gets away from me)

7:10am I am at work and first thing I get is a phone call on the help desk. It is from an employee who can not log on to our system from home. After many many questions I realize.. she has the phone cord hooked into the wrong slot, has no clue what a network cable/CAT5 cable is, and has never logged in from home before. I tell her how to fix the "problem" and she hangs up. Now, in any other field I would not really care.. but we work at a COMPUTER CONSULTING FIRM!!!! How can you NOT know what a CAT5 cable is?!?!?! /brain begins to melt quickly

8:30am I tell my loving hubby, who works with me, about the employee above and share with him the brain melting effect that has started in my head. As always, he shakes his head and states "there really should be a test before they hire schmucks like this."

12:00PM I am just a little hungry, but not much since I know if I skip lunch I can leave an hour earlier.. WOOHOO!! then a co-worker gets the same idea.. except decides to eat at his desk so I had to smell that yummy foods.. needless to say I had to grab a quick bite.. then I brought it back and made the others in my pod hungry (Muhahahahaha)

Now I am sitting here typing away giving you blow by blow of my day and the boring work life I lead. Sigh.. its sad isn't it. Well, enough for now. I will post more antics later.
